Turkish Metaverse Platform MetaAge Nears $1-Million in Early-Stage Investments

The MetaAge platform, which is currently in development, claims to provide users with a nearly infinite online experience.

MetaAge is an augmented-reality platform that allows users to do almost everything they can in real life, from chatting and playing games to purchasing real estate and earning money.

MetaAge, a metaverse platform built on the Solana Blockchain, has received over $1 million in early-stage funding, according to project organizers. The platform, which is currently being developed in Turkey, has recently started its initial phase, during which it hopes to collaborate closely with 50 global NFT initiatives.

MetaAge designer and co-founder Mustafa Ekinci intends to expand internationally in a reasonably short amount of time. The platform has already sparked substantial international interest, noting that the site’s quickly growing Discord community already comprises over 10,000 people from all around the world, as well as 4000 whitelisted users. Open to anyone, Ekinci guarantees people a practically infinite online experience via MetaAge.

Users will ultimately be able to buy items and invest in virtual real estate using the platform’s own currency, $AGE. MetaAge will begin selling its first 5,000 property plots on May 25 for 2 Solanas per unit.

Users will be able to discover MetaAge via virtual reality headsets and other types of wearable VR technology during the project’s final phase. Ekinci is already in the process of building the technology. The entire shift is expected in the first half of 2023.

Users may hang out with friends—and meet new ones—in clubs, parks, NFT art galleries, and a wide range of virtual entertainment locations.

Citigroup estimated earlier this year that the Metaverse economy will rise by $8 trillion to $13 trillion by 2030. The corporate world, according to Ekinci, is very carefully monitoring metaverse tech.

Trem Global, a MetaAge investment business located in Istanbul, recently held its first-ever metaverse meeting on the new MetaAge platform.

Ekinci is thrilled about Web 3.0 technology’s boundless potential, claiming it signifies the Internet’s rejuvenation.
