At a recent launch event held at the 25Hours Hotel One Central in Dubai, the first World Corporate Summit (WCS) was announced with the theme of sports and business growth in different fields.

The summit, which is supported by Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), will take place from November 21st to December 15th. Key decision makers from multinational corporations, major UAE-based companies, and government institutions will be there to share ideas and look for ways to work together and grow their businesses.

The invite-only event will feature a series of closed-door forums and meetings with leaders of the city’s business and innovation ecosystem; offering visiting founders unique insight into the current and future outlook as Dubai continues to build on its status as a global center of trade and commerce. The schedule will also include trips to important business and innovation districts and chances to talk to people in the city’s funding and investment world.

In his presentation, WCS president Bernard Caiazzo talked about the World Corporate Summit and the VIP World Cup Dubai Program. Next, Steen Jakobsen of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism talked about Dubai’s huge efforts to support business tourism and economic growth in the region after the success of Expo 2020 Dubai.

“The VIP World Cup Dubai Program will bring together decision-makers from the global top 5000 companies, major investment funds, football sponsors, football clubs, and leagues to deliberate on pressing universal and sector-specific issues and build partnerships that will shape the future of the global economy,” Caiazzo said.

“Hosting mega-events such as Expo 2020 Dubai and the 2022 World Cup in the region not only provides a unique opportunity to drive investment but also allows us to host business leaders to exchange ideas that can bring positive change to the global economy.”I believe the World Corporate Summit will be a great platform to elevate Dubai’s position as the destination for business and luxury, as well as to create partnerships, enter deals, and discuss plans for the future of business,” commented Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism. “

The first World Corporate Summit will take place during the 2022 World Cup. It is an exclusive event that is only open to people who have been invited. The goal of the event is to help people work together to create a new era of global economic growth after a pandemic.
